The Perfect Way to Spend a Week in the Jaco area.

5 of 5
This is an amazing property and the pictures do not do it justice. There were 10 of us and we had plenty of room. The rooms were all great, with individual air conditioning. The pool was the perfect temperature and got a lot of use each day. The home is a little off the beaten path, while still being within 15 minutes of downtown Jaco. The AC was on the fritz. in the master suite, the first night and the property manager, Maricela, had someone there and it was fixed withing a couple hours. Maria, the housekeeper did an awesome job, coming in each day to tidy up and make beds. We all agreed, that we would happily rent this property again in a heart beat. We made use of the available surf boards that came with the house. Each day, a family of Capuchin monkeys came down to see if we had anything to feed them... it's a good thing banana's are cheap in Costa Rica, we probably bought 10 bunches! We even got to see a baby monkey riding piggyback. We also had a resident Iguana, about 18" long that spent his days on the lawn next to the pool. We contacted a local chef, Gustavo, and for or last night, he sent us a lovely chef and server to cook us an amazing private meal. The food, and the service was amazing! I highly recommend this property to anyone who doesn't mind being a few minutes out of town! There are several pubs, sodas and corner stores about a mile away, but this is not the place to stay if you want to be within walking distance. While the route is short, it is very steep and not ideal for walking. We had several rental cars so this was not an issue for us. If I was going back to this area, I would definitely try to rent this house again!
