Fabulous apartment, great view, welcoming hosts!
Luca met us at the apartment and even let us in a little early as the apartment was available. He showed us how everything worked and the apartment had everything you needed. The view is fabulous and the remodel they did is exceptional. I almost don't want to say how great it was because I want it to be available next time we go, but if you are lucky enough to book this place you will love it. There are even European rolling shutters so your rooms are nice and dark for great sleeping. They provide you with a little coffee and sugar in the raw to make sure you get a good start to your visit. We had two sets of keys which was wonderful. There is a bathtub in one bathroom and a shower in the other. High ceilings, plenty of closet space and comfortable beds with nice crisp cotton linens. They even had extra pillows in the closet so I switched mine out for one that was not as firm. They really thought of everything. The building entrance is not posh like the apartment, but we felt very safe and were right in a very trendy neighborhood near a lot of restaurants, and the double elevators were quick to get us tho the 4th floor. Thank you Lorenzo and Luca! We will definitely be back!
Great City Great Apartment
My husband and I spent 6 nights at this apartment in September. Everything from beginning to end was wonderful. Communication with the property owners was quick and easy and the same can be said for Orsi, who manages the apartment for the owners. The space is large, modern and in the best location you could wish for! It was nice to see how much of the old architectural features were kept in tact while updating the apartment. The old building sits right on a pedestrian square which accommodates a section of the university as well as many restaurants and shops.The master bed was very comfortable and the two bathrooms also very helpful. We navigated the entire city on foot with no problems. We felt safe and welcome in this city at all times. Some small suggestions I might make would be a shelf or rack in the master bath to place soap and shampoo containers instead of the shower floor, a coffee pot in addition to the Nespresso machine for those of us who eat breakfast in and maybe a binder where prior guests can leave suggestions and recommendations on where to eat and how to find the grocery stores, etc. No complaints, just suggestions. Because we were unable to see everything we wanted to see, we hope to return and we would gladly rent this apartment again! An Claudia, Sandro und Orsi, vielen Dank fuer alles!
