                    Great secluded spot

This is an easy-to-find, quiet location on the River Shannon. Host was very attentive to ensuring we were OK through the hurricane that swept across Ireland in October. It was a good place to stay indoors and watch the white caps on the river from the living room window! A good base from which to explore many historic sites within an hour or less radius. Highlights were the Famine Museum in Strokestown (for those with Irish ancestors) and the genealogy center, and the ruins at Clonmacnoise. Would definitely recommend this location to other travelers.

                    Far exceeded our expectations!

Spacious, quiet and all the amenities you could ask for. Both bedrooms had lovely en suites as well as plenty of space and huge wardrobe closets. The kitchen, sitting room and downstairs bath were ideal as well. Hosts were warm and welcoming and the resident dog Rosco welcomed us like we were old friends. Would stay again!!
