Relax, unplug and enjoy Trinity River

                    5 of 5
This cabin may be the best value on VRBO. Short walk to the Trinity, great view from deck and quiet. It's small but comfortable and adequately equipped. No cable TV or Wi-Fi but that was part of the charm. Cell phone (Verizon) worked if one just has to stay "Connected"! Watched a fabulous moonset one night with a shining crescent dropping below the ridgeline. Great swimming holes and I imagine fishing would be nice as well. The road in to the place is very narrow in places, so be careful and take it slow. Deborah was very nice and helpful in answering questions and provided good information.

                    peaceful, relaxing

                    5 of 5
We stayed in the Promontory cottage. It has a great screened in porch, with a daybed and grill, plus a great view. We spent most of our time on the porch, reading, bbqing, and just hanging out, very relaxing. The weather is warm and sunny, the town is pretty sleepy. Londa was very friendly, and we felt very welcomed. The cabin and linens were clean and everything you may need to make and eat a simple meal was provided in the cabin, plus there is a grocery store a 2 minute walk away. We had a great time, and we will be staying again.
