Excellent Property

5 of 5
We are three middle aged men who rented this property for a yearly ski trip (7 days). The accommodations are top notch. Very comfortable and well appointed. Everything we needed and expected was there. A minor squawk was addressed immediately, very responsive service. While we didn't use the shuttle much, it is available, and the one time I personally used it, it was very convenient. The property is not within walking distance of anything, so if you need provisions, you'll need some type of vehicle transport. That being said, it is no more than a quick 5 minute drive (in your own car) to anywhere in town, and 5-10 minutes to the lifts/parking for peak 7-9. Wifi worked great throughout the property, no dead zones. As an aside, make sure that when you come to Breck, you understand that you are staying at the highest elevation ski area in the country, and Baldy Mountain (where this property is located) is above 10K ft. This is a general statement about the area and in no way a down side of the property itself. Just make sure you are prepared for the elevation (medically and physically) prior to arrival. All in all, we collectively highly recommend this property.

A lot more than described

We had a very nice family reunion over New year's week. In researching the various locations available we decided on this one because it was big enough for everybody. We were pleasantly surprised on our decision. First of all, I don't think that the pictures did the condo justice because there was more there than I realized. The rooms were bigger than I had expected, especially the kitchen. But all of the bedrooms were quite comfortable. The loft area was easily accessible for our teenager daughters, and they loved it up there. Every bedroom had a tv. The kitchen was well stocked with plates and utensils and gadgets. Secondly, I was really impressed with the location. It was less than 10 minutes from downtown in a quiet area. I was a really happy to be away from the traffic of downtown and the highway. My wife and I walked one morning and only saw a few cars. The views were really great. My personal favorite thing was the wood stove. It was easy to operate and it kept the place quite warm. So this place doesn't have a jacuzzi, or access to a pool. It definitely isn't a new construction, but it is updated well. It was good decision.
