Perfect weekend getaway!

5 of 5
My boyfriend and I spent Labor Day weekend at Karen's house with two other couples. The house was clean and had all the accommodations that we needed. The location is perfect and having a boat slip and boat ramp easily accessible worked out perfectly. I would highly recommend staying here - we had a great time! Thanks Karen! :)

Amazing value with all the amenities you need!

My husband and I were lucky enough to spend two whole months at Cristy's fabulous family Key Largo retreat. We loved everything about it. The photos are 100 percent accurate (in fact the space is larger than the photos suggest) and Cristy was a real pleasure to communicate/plan with. The neighborhood is wonderful and quiet but you're conveniently across the highway from the grocery store and tons of fantastic restaurants. Our favorite was Hobo's. We'll be dreaming about the mac&cheese there for months to come. The pool and hot tub are clean and well managed and it was SO nice to have these right in our backyard! Loved the outdoor space and the Florida room for evenings unwinding. We can't say enough wonderful things about this property and it's owners - hands down some of the nicest and most thoughtful people there are. The indoor space is comfortable and serviceable whether two or six people share the house. Internet was phenomenal - my husband and I work full-time from home and never had problems. Phone signal was a little trickier but all we had to do was step outside if we had weak signal. Some of the furniture is a tad bit dated and perhaps ready for an upgrade, but that's to be expected in a vacation home where people may be wet/sandy from playing in the water all day. My husband fished and I went snorkeling at Pennekamp at least weekly. Those are both MUSTS for ocean lovers. We loved everything about this home and the Keys - it was very hard to leave. Be sure to check out the community pier at sunset for an incredible view and warm neighborly exchange! We made some great friends down there and you haven't experienced Key Largo at its finest until you've heard Maryanne blow her conch shell as the sun sets. Tell her Dom and Lindsey sent you. :) Thank you so much, Cristy, for sharing your home with us and allowing visitors the opportunity to live like a local.
