We really enjoyed our 9 days on Manasota Key. The house design is well suited for 2 couples, or as in our case a couple and one college aged daughter, as the main bedrooms are in two separate buildings with the pool/lanai in between. The pool was a good size and always clean and a great temperature (not cold, but refreshing). There was a lot of privacy as the pool was between the buildings and had trees and plantings in the back. The flowers on the property were beautiful. The loft gets a bit warm during the day, but that didn't stop it from being used for naps and internet searching with the provided wifi. We also used the printer for our airline passes...very convenient. The gulf is just around the corner. You walk out of the door, pass one house on the right, turn left and pass a house on the left and you are at the shore. The beach area varies by high/low tide of course, but there was always a place to sit or walk up the shore, sometimes having to walk in the water but that's part of the fun. We found a lot of sharks teeth. The house was well equipped including the kitchen with many small appliances and cookware. There were many bath towels and beach towels, several beach chairs, umbrella and sand toys. We had hoped to use the bikes but of the 3 provided only one was short enough for us...I'm sure they will be great for average height people. We visited the last week in July, which is considered off season so there were very few people on the beaches and the traffic was light. A few shops were closed in the area, but most everything was up and running. Sure, it was hot, but you're at the beach so you can cool off in the gulf or the pool. It was a great time to visit. The owner, Nancy, always answered emails very quickly. The propane for the grill had run out, I let her know and it was replace by the next day. Thanks for providing such a wonderful place for us to get away from our normal busy lives. We hope to come back soon.

                      Very well maintained

This unit is just as it is described clean and very well maintained. James was always ready to answer any question or problems that may have come up. Close to many restaurants and the market on Thursdays is a treat. Beaches are a short drive away where shark tooth hunting is at its best. Look forward to another great month in 2018.
