Great place to stay

5 of 5
We really enjoyed our stay at Kihei Kai Nani unit 8-361! We usually stay in Kaanapali area and this was our first time staying in Kihei. It was a great area to stay in with kids. The beach is right across the street and the water was calm enough most days that we could all swim. There are several little shops close by so you don’t have to walk far if you want some good food or coffee or ice cream. The condo itself seems like it is a little bit older but it has every single amenity that we needed and is well taken care of. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. The pull out sofa has a nice memory foam mattress and our kids slept well. All the appliances worked well and we really liked the big kitchen sink. The air conditioner leaks onto the lanai a little bit but it really wasn’t an issue for us. Kai Nani is located in a bit of a “busy” area but building 8 is way in the back of the property so it was extremely quiet and peaceful in our condo with a great view of the mountains and a bit of an ocean view too! It feels very private. Unit 361 is on the 3rd floor which means you have about 25 stairs to climb but it wasn’t an issue for us and the plus side is you have a better view and no neighbors above you. However we did ask our neighbors below us and they said they couldn’t hear us at all. The pool area was always clean and gets lots of good sun! A couple of times I had questions while we were there. I emailed the owner, Richard, and he was very quick to respond so that was nice too! We were very satisfied with our stay and hope to be back next year!
