  • Lots of character, beautiful setting along a creek, woods, farm, and fields

The best thing about this property is the setting. Nestled on an immense, private, and quiet property, you won't really see anyone else and don't have to worry about the neighbors. There's a creek near the house, a nice salt water pool, and a huge yard. There's a nice back patio with a grill too. Our children loved staying here and the adults enjoyed unwinding too. The home is lovely, though it has the quirks you might expect from a house this old: some creaky floors, some funny shaped rooms, and sound travels a little more between the rooms than you might expect. We really enjoyed all of the unusual details, including a secret doorway between two of the bedrooms. Brian and David were very friendly and helpful too. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

This house was beautiful from the time you pull in the driveway. Lots of space and has everything you could possibly need. The host was very helpful and available when needed. Our family loved the modernized kitchen and bathrooms and how beautiful the old hardwoods are. Also great location to everything we needed that week. Would definitely stay again!
