  • Cozy!

It's a nice and cozy place not too far from the beach area. Great place to stay at around the Hollywood beach vicinity. It was hard to find first due to the name of the street is behind another street but I had managed.

Coconut Grove is an amazing part of Miami - lush and tropical, with interesting architecture. This property is fully enclosed by a tall wood fence with a beautiful tropical garden and decks surrounding the entire house (a few areas on the sides in poor condition, but we were always out on the front porch with coffee and tea). Very unique 1950s-era house and garden. Window A/C units were not ideal but ok for us in November. Some of them were older units that could do with a replacement. The kitchen doesn’t have a real stove/oven - just a cooktop, which worked fine for our on-the-go needs, but may not work for everyone. The bathroom could definitely use some love but was serviceable. Not a lot of linens were provided - we got 2 bath towels for 2 adults and 1 kid (for a 4 night stay), no wash cloths or hand towels. No extra blankets, either. Granted, we did not ask for any more towels or linens - we didn’t really need them that badly, but more would be helpful for future guests! No washer/dryer either, but again that was fine for us. Overall, a wonderful, relaxing place to stay with my husband and our almost-5 year old in an amazing part of Miami that’s also close to everything. It could just use a little more love and some extra items for guests.
