  • Cute and easy-to-find

This house was super cute and was very easy for everyone in our group to find. Two of our families drove about 5 hours to attend a family weekend at the Fairgrounds, so the location worked well for us. Listing on the property says it sleeps 20, with 12 being a comfortable number - we were finding 15 people to be a bit of a challenge. We had 4 couples and then several children ranging from 6 months - 13 years old, and had to get creative. Like previous posters, we ended up moving one of the mattresses from the bunkbeds into the bedroom with the twin bed for one of the families with a smaller child. We agree that the 2nd bedroom would benefit from being a queen bed rather than a double/full. The kitchen was nicely stocked and we were able to find what we needed for our stay. We had a mini-Christmas for the kids while we were there - so the sport court was a great amenity as the three little kids were able to try out their scooters! We originally thought that the Fairgrounds were going to be much closer - but it was much too far for us to walk at a mile-and-a-half distance. The drive to the blue gate was especially easy, though - so that worked out well for us. One thing that would be a great add-on would be to make sure the heat was on for the people arriving. My parents who are not familiar with HVAC arrived first and weren't able to set the thermostat to warm as quickly as they would have liked and needed to utilize blankets for a few hours. Katie and JR are great at communicating with pre-travel questions and were in communication throughout our stay. That was really appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay - and would recommend to a group of 12 with 2 couples :) Thanks you guys!

Very nice, well appointed home. Everything we needed for a relaxing weekend with the kids. Can't wait to come back in the summer.
