  • Quiet beach vacation

Location right on beach is plus quick walk out to water. Sunsets from porch! However due to dune you can’t see water or beach. Next time we’d select home w/ 2nd story deck to see waterview. It’s what I would call a “typical shore house” not fancy and a bit weathered, There are some houses/triplexes on the street that are in rough shape which was a little off putting. Some appliances//some furniture could use refresh. There were only two of us but the bedroom spaces would work well for large group. Master bathroom is super narrow. Mexico Beach is very small town and we enjoy that type of relaxing atmosphere but if you are looking for action this isn’t the place. We enjoyed sitting on deck to read and listen to waves, tons of butterflies. We visited state parks - St Andrews, St Joe Peninsula - our favorite and Falling Water. Ate at Mango Marleys - good food and friendly servers.

  • Found our new home!!
    5 of 5

We've been coming to Mexico Beach for about 10 years now. We usually stay "on the beach" either at one of the Motels or Beach houses. But we have found our new home!! We love this place! It's beautiful, roomy, clean, quiet and accommodated 6 adults easily and comfortably. The property was well maintained and everything was exactly as advertised. We love eating at our favorite restaurants such as Killer Seafood and Shipwreck Raw bar, and our vacation would not be complete without sunset drinks outside, listening to live music at the Lookout Lounge! We are already recommending this place to all our friends back home. Thank you so much for a great time! See you next year!
