Very comfortable space. One of the few vacation locations with comfy beds and pillows. Quarter mile walk to Los Muertos pier. Two blocks from restaurants. Living space very comfortable. It was great to watch NFL playoffs from our own TV instead of having to arm wrestle others in a bar. Cons: WiFi did not work. Assumed there wasn’t any since there was no password. instructions in condo. Found out on departure that there is supposed to be WiFi. Neighborhood noisy. Quiets down at night. Wished there was a small pool.
Overall excellent value for money. Will stay here again.
If one of your main priorities while staying in Puerto Vallarta is an amazing view, Gabriella’s condo is almost impossible to beat. Those photos in the listing? They’re real, but they don’t do it justice. Sweeping vistas of the bay, the city, and the mountains - breathtaking and definitely one of the highlights of staying here. With floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room, master bedroom, and master bath, along with a giant patio and a side balcony, this unit is perfect for spending hours just soaking it all in.
We also loved the amenities and appliances: a new washer and a new dryer in the unit, spacious new refrigerator and freezer with ice maker, professional gas range/stove, coffee maker, whirlpool tub in the master, three full bathrooms, new dishwasher, and new microwave. The washer/dryer were especially important for us, as we needed to do laundry during our stay. The unit also has beautiful floors, comfy beds, and plenty of seating for a group.
Some issues and/or things to keep in mind. While secluded and private, the unit is very close to the Zona Romantica (i.e. Old Town) section of PV, and it’s an easy walk, but there are some steep hills between the two, so get ready for some cardio or just call an Uber from town (~$3 one way). You’ll have access to a small plunge pool in the unit, and another larger pool on the property, neither of which was heated when we were there, so possibly a bit chilly in cooler weather. The only problems we had were slow/spotty WiFi and a bit of an odor from one of the bathrooms. Our hostess was very responsive throughout our stay, so I have no doubt that she will sort out these items quickly. The a/c in the bedrooms was great, especially for those of us who are “hot sleepers.” Be aware that a/c in the living areas is also available in cooler months for a fee. There was a mid-week cleaning service included in our stay, with additional cleaning available for a fee.
The building itself has a front desk with a doorman and some lobby seating. We also noticed a few pieces of fitness equipment near the pool.
Overall, we had an excellent stay, and we would return to Gabriella’s condo for a future stay. I miss that view already!
