  • Loved Casa Aracari!!
    5 of 5

Our stay in Casa Aracari was nothing less than fabulous from start to finish! Claire was very attentive from the beginning... sending emails and phone calls to be sure we knew everything there is to know about the house and things to do in the area. We've stayed at several other houses in the area, and this one was by far the nicest and best maintained. If you haven't heard or read about Marvin the gardener, you will...he is amazing! Such a wonderful person (and his family)...so if given the opportunity, take his farm & waterfall tour (and lunch at Maria's); it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip and we highly recommend it! There is so much to do and experience in CR, but just sitting on the deck or on the patio or in the pool at Casa Aracari was certainly one of our favorite things to do....listening to the sounds of the jungle every morning and sunset was our daily routine and we loved every minute!!! We can't wait to return and enjoy all the sights and sounds of the jungle, and will absolutely stay here again! Thank you Claire, Bud, Trina, and Marvin...can't wait to see you again soon! • A SLICE OF PARADISE
    5 of 5

This was our sixth trip to Costa Rica (which we LOVE!) and I must say that this was was one of the nicest we have rented. It obviously has been a labor of love for the owners as they have done a fantastic job with the home. We traveled as a family of four and it was the perfect size and the owners have spared no expense in creating a slice of paradise. Both the sunrise and sunset are simply majestic (my family got tired of me telling them that this was the nicest place to see a sunset that we have ever been!) and by the end of our week there we found ourselves hardly leaving the house as it was so nice just to hang out. Be sure if you book, which I highly recommend that you do, that you have a SUV with four wheel drive (we made the mistake of getting a car and it wasn't the brightest move on my part)! In summary if you are looking to go to Costa Rica this is the place. Costa Rica does have its challenges from time to time but as long as you are able to "go with the flow" you will have a great time. Scott, Grit, Kai & Svenja Newport, RI
