Driving into Pixies Croft down it’s country lane entrance brings you into a haven with sweeping views of uninterrupted land and sea.
Uniquely designed, with soft washed wooden panelling throughout, each space is thoughtful and ingenious and executed with a generous, stylish flare. It has a comfortable casual vibe. Cecilia has put enormous care into every detail, went above and beyond to make us welcome and help us navigate the high-end coffee machine.
The feeling is secluded and remote, but it’s tennis court on site, access to walks and easy distance to nearby beaches and the un-spoilt town of Rye with its cobbled streets and the deep history of Battle - one of Lonely Planets top 10, made it a break for us that was personal, yet packed with so much potential we cant wait to come back.
A perfect location for visiting Great Dixter, Sissinghurst, Rye and Bodiam Castle. Walk out the front gate and take a left (or right)for wonderful country walks. This is a charming cottage with a well thought out kitchen. I most enjoyed the activity in the sable yard. I hope to return.
