What you see is definitely what you get. The owner and manager have gone through great effort to make your stay here smooth. There are small signs around the cabin giving you “heads-up” about everything you could need to know. A welcome packet also summarized important information.
The property was very clean, and we did our best to keep it that way. Amenities included a full kitchen with granite countertops and island, fridge/freezer, gas range and oven, microwave, dishwasher, a few small appliances, top/bottom washer/dryer, Keurig, heater, strong ceiling fans, window-mounted A/C, Foosball table, porch with gas BBQ, and a dog run with a shovel and trash can. There is one bathroom which seems recently remodeled. The shower was nice with endless hot water (tankless).
Keyless entry is provided, which was convenient for late arrival. There are two parking spots right in front of the property, and parking permits were provided. The cabin has two queen beds and a large sectional.
They were very sweet, providing a welcome basket with goodies, both human and canine, and a dog toy for our Maxie.
Overall, we felt like everything was as expected with some pleasant surprises. We feel like our stay was a good value for the money. The property was easy to find on our mapping app, quiet, and clean. There is a view to the lake. We would definitely consider staying here again.
Overall, this a decent place to stay in a good location. It was clean and pleasantly decorated. The kitchen could use some help as far as utensils and organization, so if you are planning on cooking, just be aware. Also, one of my pet peeves in most of the vacay rentals we stay at, this one included, is that basics such as pillows and sheets should be replaced at least every year. It's such a small investment, and provides a much more comfortable stay for a guest. The pillows were very old and uneven and flat. Otherwise, it was a good stay.
