We found our accommodations in the Ocean’s 3 bedroom condo very comfortable.
Very spacious and clean! Furniture could use an update including a sofa/loveseat that wasn’t so low. Someone with bad knees would struggle getting up off of these. The appliances were in good shape and most had manuals available, however not all. But nothing a quick Google to YouTube didn’t cure! The large deck made a great space for morning coffee. In the afternoon this area was almost impossible to sit out due to the sun. Some of the other condo’s had awnings that provided for a more usable space in the afternoon.
The beach is just as pictured. If you have a tenderfoot you best invest in a water sock/sandal of some sort. The water was warm and not even a blade of seaweed was seen! Lots of marine life to look at too! The restrooms at the beach were clean so no need to run back to the room.
Sunset Grill was only open on Fri, Sat, & Sun evenings, so we never got the chance to eat there, but I think the Beach Bar has the same menu. We had some snacks at the Beach Bar and found that although service was a little slow; it was always friendly. No need to be in a rush after all we were on vacation.
We went to Pictures on our last evening in Curacao. Food was very good and the bartender was very friendly and fun to chat with.
The grounds were very well maintained and we saw lots of folks tending to the gardens and pool areas – at least where we were.
Don’t be surprised with the construction going on. Very busy growing development. We did not have any issues with noise but I could see if you were closer to the action; you may.
Reception was a breeze. Checked in and out in a matter of minutes.
There is a grocery store a 5 minute ride away. Selections were limited but not very - definitely something for everyone including both wine and spirits. Note: close earlier than in the States.
