The apartment is in a quiet residential neighborhood on a hill above the old town. Well appointed with all modern conveniences including terraces, one with a BBQ and a dedicated section of of the roof terrace complete with furniture and views of the hills and ocean. The ubiquitous electric window shutters ensure that you can sleep as long as you like while the AC/heater/fan units keep you comfortable. The hosts are very welcoming, live just 5 minutes away and provided us with food staples as well as beer and wine to ease our arrival. The location has a dedicated underground parking spot that we never needed as on street parking was always available. The cul de sac is quiet and comfortable walking distance to local coffee shops and restaurants and only 20-25 minutes walk down the hill to the old town and more choices than you can imagine. This was a perfect spot for our wonderfully relaxing stay in Tavira. While the season was just beginning we could easily see it would provide a welcome retreat from the busier season. We had a great time staying at this apartment for a week. Smooth check in process, and apartment was well stocked with basic amenities. Though there is no designated parking spot for the apartment, we were easily able to find free street parking on a nearby street (200m away) each day. The apartment is in a great location - about a 5 mins walk to the river, and easy to get in/out of Tavira by car for day trips to beaches, etc. We were a family of 5 (4 adults and one toddler) and had plenty of space. The lemon and orange trees in the backyard were a delight for my 3 year old son! Thank you Constant for a great apartment!
