The property was conveniently located to restaurants and all the DC sights and museums. It was only about a 20 minute walk to Capitol Hill or 8 minutes drive time. There is no convenient parking so we were glad we did not rent a car. Uber drivers took us everywhere that required driving. The beds were great and we had everything we needed in the kitchen and baths. The sofa was small and would only seat 2 people. There was a lovely brick patio off the master bedroom but no furniture to use it! The biggest downside was when we requested a later checkout we were told we would be notified the day before we had to depart. That denial notification didnt happen until the morning of checkout. We then had to drive to a place that did luggage storage in order not to have to carry it around while spending our last half day of sightseeing in DC. No storage at the condo was offered until we had already reserved and paid for storage elsewhere. All that being said, we would still highly recommend it and would most likely return because now we know what to expect!
Greatest place to stay, right in the Navy Yard neighborhood with river walks, restaurants and retail stores at our fingertips. The apartment was super clean and efficient, so smartly decorated. From wine glasses to silverware and pots and pans, the kitchen was fully stocked. The beds and linens were pure luxury. This unit will be at the top of our list for upcoming Washington trips!
