If you are looking for a clean, well priced place for a couple to stay and enjoy the Kailua Bay Area of Oahu, then this just might be the ideal rental for you. If you are high maintenance, and you know who you are, you should probably stay at one of the hotels over in Waikiki and drive across the island to Kailua. With 450 total square feet of space, only about 144 square feet of this rental is air conditioned (the master bedroom). While it can sleep 3 adults, the third adult will be on the equivalent of an extended twin mattress like those used at summer camp and will get little benefit from the air conditioning in the master bedroom. There's a full size refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave oven, sink, and new washer and dryer located in the space as you enter the unit. All are fully functional and very useful to store snacks &/or prepare very simple meals while allowing you to launder clothing during your stay. The bathroom is well-equipped and the shower is probably the best part of the unit. If you like to come home at the end of a long day at the beach and spend time chilling in your room, be prepared to do it all from your king size bed after the unit has had a chance to cool down upon your return. The entertainment is bring your own Netflix or check out the selection of Blu-ray discs provided by the owner from the TV positioned across from the bed. The owners are very nice and eager to assist. Absolutely no complaints there. All the basics you will need are in the unit: beach chairs & umbrella, towels, boogie board, loaner cooler, even shower soap and shampoo, etc. We love Kailua & it is pretty hard to beat the price charged for this unit. We made the mistake of thinking that it would live like a typical 450 square foot apartment space. We had a third adult with us for the first two nights we were on property and it was certainly less-than-ideal. When it was only two of us, our satisfaction level with the unit improved dramatically. Overall we definitely recommend this as a viable option for your stay in Kailua.

They really have thought of everything at this VRBO! The kitchen is small, but functional. Loved having a fridge and stove/oven. Comfortable living room. Beds were GREAT, very comfortable and not beat up or saggy. Having a/c to cool things off is terrific but if you open the front and side doors, you get a great breeze going thru the property as well. Lots of closet space, huge bathroom full of supplies. Everything you need for the beach in the back cabinet including boogie boards, chairs, toys and a beach carrier with wheels. Washer and dryer just out the back door, stocked with detergent as well. Clothes line to hang suits and towels was very handy but take in at night as the humidity and rain will leave it more wet than what you started with. You have your own parking space and are just a block from a lot of great restaurants, Whole Foods, Foodland and Target which was great for groceries as well. So many great places to eat in Kailua and you are about 10 min from Lanikai Beach, rated one of the best in the world. I would for sure recommend this property and stay there again! Thank you!
