My husband and I had a really lovely stay in this traditional, quaint two bed-roomed apartment, in the beautiful town of Bonifacio. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. With plenty of cutlery crockery and glasses as well as a dishwasher and large fridge. Coffee maker etc. The view was superb and we would bring our supplies back for lunch and breakfast on the little terrace or from the large wooden table in the kitchen/sitting area. With sea views from both, white coastal cliff views from the terrace. At night we could see the lights twinkling on Sardinia, and lucky to have a full moon shining on the water too. Our September stay meant perfect weather, and even though some days a little warm we would open windows in the second bedroom (on street side....also an interesting view) to let the cross breeze through to the terrace. There were so many interesting items decorating the apartment we were instantly immersed in another culture.
The beds were comfortable and the bathroom adequate and everything was very clean which would be difficult in such an old apartment.
You are in the heart of the old town and we felt very special just stepping straight out into the bustling street like a local! We had no issue with noise as restaurants were closing when we went to bed and I would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone as long as you don't expect brand new modern apartment but rather something more classical.
The only negative we found was that it was on the top floor with lots of steps with our luggage it made for a strenuous arrival (we were traveling for wedding as well as trip of 5 weeks). And the steps are extra large! So it was a workout every day which we wouldn't normally mind except we were also unwell. So I would recommend for the hale and hearty only.
We did as suggested and dropped luggage at end of street (you can't drive in) so kind of had to park illegally, get key from neighbour, and then move car to a parking lot about 10 mins walk away. Parking is always an issue in old towns and this is a very popular destination for both day trippers and longer term visitors alike. Would suggest arriving later in the day when it's quieter.
(PS you are expected to remove your recycling and garbage yourself which would have been good to know in the beginning so we wouldn't have so many trips to the collection point on checking out!)
