This property is kept in wonderful condition by the owners. Set in a small village very close to Geres national park, it’s a great place to stay.
Very large and comfortable for six people. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed rooms very comfortable.
We visited during one of the hottest periods in Portugal’s history and the property does not have air conditioning. Despite that it stayed relatively comfortable due to being an old stone house. There is swimming a twenty minute drive away to cool down as well.
You need a car to get around and the driving is not what most North Americans are used to with the small mountain roads.
Overall a great place to stay
