My husband and I were visiting our son who lives in Denver. We took the family dog and finding a nice place that takes dogs isn’t always easy. Tonia’s Artist studio couldn’t have been more perfect. The studio is in the back of the main house through a locked gate. It has a HUGH beautifully landscaped back yard with a lovely gazebo to have coffee in the morning or just hang out with your pooch. The interior of the studio is full if light from skylights and 2 sets of French doors. You can close the skylights to keep out the morning light or the heat of the day. It is air conditioned and has a little wood stove as well as baseboard heat for the winter. We we there over the 4th of July and Tonia let us use her grill. There is a small kitchenette with everything you need for breakfast or small meals.
There are a lot of small thoughtful touches, like motion sensor lights in the back yard to help you find your way at night. She also had power strips on the nightstands so you don’t have to hunt for a plug and a fridge full of bottled water, a necessity in dry Denver. The bathroom sink is very small but there is a lovely old fashioned mirrored vanity in the bedroom where you can put on your make up. The bed is very comfortable and there is plenty of street parking, a rarity in Denver. We would definitely stay here again. There are also a number of very
nice shops and restaurants close by and only a 10-15 drive into downtown Denver.
