This place is amazing and the hosts are super nice and attentive! We brought our adult children and spouses, total ten-people, and never felt crowded! Near beaches and rainforest. Great food on the strip right down the road. Iwould recommend this place 100%

  • Amazing views, secluded and drenched in nature!!

Just over 30 minutes from the airport and starving from our flight, we stopped at the bottom of the hill at the highly recommended El Verde Bar B Que. Probably the best fried pork and roasted chicken that I've ever had. Honest. Then we headed up the mountain road and into the rainforest which was like a scene in Jurassic Park. Incredibly beautiful, lush and humid! The home was built by the owners of the property and you can instantly see that it was built with comfort in mind. Beautiful high ceilings with an upstairs loft that can accommodate larger groups. Although the two air conditioned bedrooms were heaven in the humidity, the reality is that at night, the temps come down and you could be comfortable with the fans blowing through the home. The Coqui frogs clearly get their names from their sound and they are certainly heard :-) I had the pleasure to meet one up close at 530 am. Very cool little frog! The winding driveway leading to the home is so secluded that you cannot see the road from the home. Very private which is really nice if you like to get away from it all after a day at the beach or in any of the surrounding towns. The house is fully equipped with all of your needs and there are a few markets and even a walmart fairly close for whatever you may need that isn't already in the home. Do yourself a favor and try the delicious locally grown coffees. My favorite was actually one of the least expensive. Yaucono. The rainforest is probably one of the coolest treks that I've ever made and a cool dip in the falls was a nice relief after the hilly hike. The downpour on the way out reminded me that I was in fact in a rainforest but it was still pretty cool hiking out in it. You kind of just become part of the nature. If you are considering a trip to Puerto Rico, scrap the hotels and rent this home. You'll be glad that you did. Hotels cannot give you the island feeling that staying in a tropical rainforest will. And the home itself is a clear 5 out of 5 stars. 10 if they rated that high!!
