As others have noted, this 1970’s style cottage sits across the road from the bay, tucked back into the pine trees on a quiet road off busy M-22. We stayed during cold weather so couldn’t use the beach or the enclosed area off the master bedroom but we made good use of the gas fireplace. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials (bring your own spices, condiments and storage bags). Contact with Aaron was easy and pleasant. He and a guest were on site during our visit but we never heard a sound from his apartment above the garage. Overall, a good value for this area.

This is a gem of a find, right next to Torch Lake. The house is a delight, and very well cared for. Natalie was extremely responsive and helpful, both before and during our stay. The house is very welcoming, comfortable, extremely pleasant for hanging out. We were there with five kids ages 9 - 14, and had a great time playing games at the big kitchen table and being cozy on the couches in front of the fire watching a movie. It was easy to have fun in the area -- skiing, tubing, ice skating, walking around Bellaire. We loved our dinner at Short's! The kids have already asked if we can make the trip an annual tradition. I particularly appreciated how lovely the house feels. It's very nicely done, wonderful bed spreads and blankets, great touches that makes it fresh and tidy. The space is used well so that we slept 7 people very comfortably. The kitchen is very adequately stocked so it was easy to eat meals in. We absolutely recommend this destination!
