Nancy's warm personality comes across in her immediate reply to inquiries and extends to the property. Glori East is also well maintained, spotless and offers direct beach access as advertised. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and dishes. The decks are comfortable and private even from the adjacent west portion of the building. Grocery stores are few minutes down the road. Plenty of restaurants, shops and entertainment at this end of the isle and the rest of Emerald Isle is just down the road. Swansboro is 15 minutes away. While the location is great, unlike the real estate mantra "Location, Location, Location" it is the other way around - Glori East makes the location. Hope to return.

We rented the house while we were in the area for a family wedding. The house was exactly as described & pictured. The dock had been damaged by the hurricane so we couldn't use it. I'm glad we didn't have little kids. Mary Ann had the house decorated with all her pretty antiques. Definitely wouldn't be kid friendly. The Flotilla (boat parade decorated with Christmas lights). Was a nice surprise. We sat on the front porch and watched it. Mary Ann had made us a pie (it was Thanksgiving weekend). Thought that was very sweet. Only things I found kind of strange was that there was food in the cabinets & some in the fridge (which she told us to help ourselves). There were used shampoo & conditioner bottles along with used bars of soap in the bathtubs. Kind of felt like we were house sitting. One of the air mattresses didn't have the plug so only one was usable. We didn't let none of this not enjoy our stay. We would consider staying here again
