We arrived at the cottage to find it very clean bright spacious and just perfect for the four of us for a week. Sally the owner did us a lovely welcome pack and a gorgeous lemon drizzle cake....unfortunately I am Gluten Free so Sally very kindly got me GF bread and GF biscuits. Sally was very helpful in giving us tips for parking and places to see. A lovely lady.
In the visitors' book another guest was moaning that the cottage needed some TLC. But this is a 300 year old cottage not some swish modern duplex. The facilities were fine for us and the position, on the edge of Passfield Common, are ideal for anyone with a dog. You just walk out of the front door and can then go for miles. We were fortunate in that we had wonderful weather but the fact that this was our fourth stay and hope to go again next year should be enough recommendation.
