This is our second stay in 3 months. We stayed three nights, leaving Thanksgiving morning. We were there for a hiking trip with our nephew, a young man of few emotions, who said "wow" rather enthusiastically when we pulled up to the home. That's a strong indicator of the beauty of the house and surroundings. This home is exceptional : large and clean, with abundant blankets, pillows, and dishes. It is a spotlessly clean. The home's owner, Roger, is always available and rapidly responds to texts, emails, and calls. The home is off the grid, but there is no sense of austerity. It was cold the day we arrived, but the pellet stove and dinner in the oven quickly warmed the place up. Water pressure in showers is great with plenty of hot water. Above all is the location. Being off the grid gives this home an unparalleled isolation and tranquility. The night sky is jeweled with stars. Coyotes talk at night. Silence has a specific and comforting sound. I can not recommend this place more. Thank you Roger for a spectacularly memorable Thanksgiving vacation. My last review discussed having to run the generator two of three mornings. We subsequently learned our Norwegian guest was using an electric hair dryer every morning, in addition to running the dishwasher and washing machine. We had no power issues during this stay.
