  • Great Mountain Home
    4 of 5

The home is right off the road yet feels miles from civilization! Gorgeous setting with beautiful views in a home with an authentic log mountain home feel. Tons of space, but would not recommend for more than 8 adults. The last 2 beds are a bunk bed with mattresses that would be fine for kids. The bunk is in a space without a door, just off the large bedroom. The bedrooms are very cozy with comfortable beds and bedding. You must be a good winter mountain driver to get up the driveway.

  • Great location and wonderful home

We chose this home because of the multitude of fun that could be had while staying indoors in case bad weather kept us inside. We had a billiards tournament and played plenty of foosball too! Things I wish I had known: That the bunk room didn't have a designated restroom to use - the kids had to go downstairs and use the full bath off of game room. We cooked quite a bit and while the appliances were nice, we didn't feel like the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking for our crowd of 11. There was only 1 hair dryer. We had to request more towels because there just weren't enough provided originally. We did have a TV stop working while we were there and the owners came and dropped off a new on on day 2, which was so nice. The restaurants the owner recommended were very good! We loved the town of Grand Lake - everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. We had a blast on snowmobiles, rented from On The Trail. Squeaky B's restaurant downtown has the nicest owners. They sat and visited with us while we enjoyed their homemade burgers on Christmas Eve. City Market grocery store in Granby was a VERY nice store and had everything we needed.
