What can I say.... From the skyline views to the succulents and cactus growing all around to the full list of amenities, this place was terrific. It was so nice being able to escape into the Hills after long days of touring crowded L.A. and the surrounding cities. We'd cook dinner then sit outside, eat and drink wine, watch the city lights come into view and talk about the history of the home and what celebrities from the past sat right where we were sitting. It's the type of place you'd be happy not leaving if you wanted to just relax and get away from it all - it's that peaceful and that quiet. On the other hand, it was close to everything "L.A.". It's a short drive to Hollywood, Beverly Hills and downtown L.A. as well as right around the corner from Mulholland Drive, where you can see the most amazing homes and vistas. We hated to leave and will definitely be back! Many thanks to Debbie, as she was on the spot answering any questions we had; she was the perfect hostess!
This house had pretty much everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds and linens were all very comfortable, AC and hot water all worked great. If you'd like to cook or do any outdoor type of entertaining this isn't quite the place. Could use more pots/pans/cooking utensils and the "backyard" doesn't feel particularly luxurious. Street a little busy but not too bad. Short drive to all the amenities you need on Sunset. All in all not bad if you're just looking for place to rest your head at the end of the day in the LA area.
