This was our first time staying in Kapaa (usually stay in Poipu.) Lae Nani's pool and grounds are well maintained. We noted that the manager thoroughly cleaned and attended to the pool area every morning. The condo was clean, well-equipped (except we could not locate the DVD player) and located close to the pool and the bbq area. It's a ground floor unit which doesn't have a great ocean view, but we loved being so close to the ocean at Lae Nani. Being a condo complex, there is noise such as footsteps upstairs, kids and families at the pool, people walking by, neighbors chatting on the lanais and some distant music from Lava Lava Beach Club. You can also hear people walking on the beach access just outside the bedroom windows. None of this was irritating or annoying, simply the everyday background noise of condo living. All of this being said, we enjoyed our stay here. We could walk to Kapaa - Foodland, Ross Dress for Less, Coconut Marketplace, Long's Drugs, saving us a drive in traffic on the highway. We also walked to Lydgate Park (really nice.) It was convenient to Lava Lava Beach Club for drinks and pupus or meals. Thanks to owner, Peter, for providing a reasonably priced and comfortable place to stay in Kapaa.
The resort is absolutely beautiful. The location is very central and easy to get to the entire island.
The one thing I have to say, is that it is a bit inconvenient that being there for 7 nights, and we did not once get any services, such as new towels, or coffee. If we were to check out and back in we would have gotten more amenities. Spending the amount we did per night, I would have hoped to get some sort of amenities replenishments.
