I can't believe this cabin exists just a few miles from the place where I grew up. Driving back to it, you feel like you're time traveling. The farm is absolutely gorgeous. The horses greet you with nods, the birds create a symphony, and the cabin, well, it makes you feel like you're back in pioneer times, yet still have modern conveniences. My favorite feature is the screened in porch overlooking Stoner Creek. There's nothing like hanging out at night watching the lightning bugs without getting mosquito bites. My only regret is that I did not get a chance to kayak. The water was up high due to storms and there was a lot of debris, so I decided against a trip down the Stoner. If you're looking for a place to feel far away from the troubles of life, and you love being in nature, this is a fantastic refuge. Thanks for sharing it with us, Chet.
We really enjoyed our stay here! Loved the location being within short walking distance to coffee, restaurants, and the grocery store. Very quiet beautiful neighborhood. Our girls enjoyed the park across the street too. Absolutely loved being in the cottage among all the creative artwork and pottery that was so lovingly made. A little slice of creative peace. My only recommendation is more blankets for sleeping and a coffee maker in addition to the existing French press. Great space and highly recommend!
