As others have said, pictures don't do this property justice. It's hard to capture the feeling the mountains, pond, river, and open space give. Tom and Jyoti are very hospitable people who really try to make your stay better. There are two cabins on the property in addition to the main house. They each offer their own privacy with great views and are separated a good distance from each other.
We were there during spring run off and had been advised by guides at the fly shops that the river isn't worth fishing. Tom and Jyoti's son gave us some great advice on fishing the river, however, which we took up. He told us to give it a try and we were able to catch some trout, which was very fun and made our trip. It isn't the easiest to get down to the river to fish, so we just had to make sure we were properly dressed to avoid burs or getting bug bites, which is very normal preparation for fishing a river. Would just be all the better if it were cleared.
The only other thing I would note to prepare someone for their stay is that the mini fridge has a very small freezer. We picked up a separate mini freezer for added convenience as having freezer space is important to us. It wasn't ideal, but we would have been getting bags of ice constantly without it. There is also a large cooler there that we were grateful for on our park days.
Everything else in the cabin is lovely! The front porch was our absolute favorite thing. We look forward to hopefully making it back to the cabins one day!
Thank you for sharing your space, Tom and Jyoti!
