The Bali Tree House is a fabulous residence for a Manual Antonio holiday. The entire village area is very hilly and access to any restaurant or shop requires a hike up or down very steep streets. The house is built on a very steep hillside and has many stairs down to the bedrooms/up to the main level. To access street level is 28 steps and down to the parking space is over 40 steps. It is not handicap accessible or for anyone with limited mobility. Otherwise for a family with 3 young adults it was fantastic. There is a bluetooth speaker available (a nice suprise). Cookware is in need of replacement. Spices, coffee, etc, stocked, awesome blender, microwave, toaster, no ice maker, but ice trays. A/C worked great the entire stay. Margarita, the house cleaner is fabulous and unobtrusive and keeps things shiny. Monkeys will be your alarm clock, no changing that. Capuchin and Howler monkees visited every day. Sloth with baby in tree nearby along the parking space road. Look-up! Mosquitos were minimal. Beautiful living inside and out. Pool is spotless. Had a rental car (4X4) for day trips, used taxi's at night.
Once we found the place, it was very beautiful! Well stocked with towels for the beach and great location to the beaches, Nat’l Park, and delicious restaurants. We had some monkeys visit us at breakfast and saw some beautiful birds just sitting on the decks.
The only difficulty is that I didn’t get an email with specific directions and the contact on the Vrbo listing was the wrong number. A VRBO rep was able to find specific directions to the place that made it easy to find (vs the incorrect address on the listing). Would definitely recommend staying here!
