  • Great location and cozy stay!

It is close to every park you plan to go in San Diego! Walking distance to beach. With the assigned parking space, it is very convenient to explore the beach whenever you want. There are also a lot of dining choices nearby. The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped. One disadvantage is you can hear planes passing above from 6am to 11pm. If you are a night person or deep sleeper, this might not affect you. Another thing is shower water somehow tends to come out from glass door. Need to be careful and dry it consistently. Overall we liked the place and enjoyed the good weather when we were there.

  • A hidden gem in Mission Beach

This might be the best place in which we have stayed during our annual Winter family trip to Mission Beach. There are many things to be excited about but I'll start with the king size bed in the master bedroom. Many times in these rentals you get a substandard mattress but the one in the first bedroom is TempurPedic; which makes a huge difference in the overall sleep enjoyment. The other beds were reportedly comfortable as well and the bunk beds (with trundle) are a bit crowded in the bedroom but more than adequate. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and dishes, a critical factor when you're looking to cook meals as opposed to eating out. The modern dishwasher and laundry appliances also made road living more convenient. The front patio is actually more impressive in person than it appears in the photos. The outdoor table can sit 6-8 and there is a small lounge area under the tree next to the barbecue, making for perfect outdoor entertaining. The house also has a bevy of beach toys and beach chairs for groups looking to move to the sand. The outdoor shower is perfect to wash off from the day.
