When my wife and I entered the unit on our first day it was exactly as Teeming represented it in their description. First the condo was spotless and professionally cleaned. The view of the Gulf is spectacular. The owner has supplied us with everything you can think of from a fully equipped kitchen, beach chairs, a computer and printer, and even scotch tape. Tides Beach Club unit 2-521 must have been professionally decorated as the furnishings, wall hangings, and other items in the house are all tastefully done. Teeming was easy to work with and there was always are constant stream of information regarding check in and feedback. We actually called to see if we could check in a bit early and they immediately checked and gave the approval. There are many restaurants with various price points for families including the Conch Republic across the street and Frogs serving a great breakfast and lunch. You can't miss a trip to John's Pass and Tarpon Springs among other day trips. We are enjoying this unit at the Tides Beach Club so much we have already booked for next year,
The condo has been recently remodeled (within last year if I had to guess) and we found it to be clean upon arrival. The beds were very comfy and pillows were very adequate for a rental. Lots of extra towels and extra sheet sets provided. Nice common area on the ground floor with seating and pool, which was a good size. On the beach they have chair service for a two wood loungers with cushion and canopy for $25 a day. We thought that was fair based on other services we've used at other locations. It gave us a good "home base" at the beach. Also, the Double Tree Hilton next door serves Starbucks and has an excellent Breakfast. This is a 15 yard walk from the Ram Sea beach access. It was a nice surprise benefit by happenstance.
Overall the condo would receive 5 stars but I deducted one star due to slow drains in both shower/tubs (common problem with rental beach condos though from sand,) also we had to go buy a few light bulbs for one of the lamps in the living area due to them being burnt out, not a huge deal though. I would highly suggest to the owner to invest in additional lighting for the living area as it was very dark in the evenings and we struggled with the dim lighting. Lack of lighting in living area was our only real grip of the condo.
We also really enjoyed the location with easy access to a great selection of restaurants along Gulf Blvd.
Overall, we had a great trip and enjoyed the condo and it's location. We plan to return to the area due to close proximity to Tampa Airport. We will look into getting this condo again.
