My boyfriend and I stayed here for 10 days and we had everything we needed, and the host, Jill, checks in and is there if you need anything! It’s perfect for one or two. The location is perfect for staying in the North Shore and being able to explore all the beautiful areas O’ahu has to offer. It’s 20min to cute, historic Haleiwa and 5min to Turtle Bay Resort (the public beach at Turtle Bay is an amazing snorkel area!). Our favorite spots were the beach right across the street (Velzyland) that was never too busy, Haleiwa for all its yummy food places (The Beach House-finer dining & perfectly cooked dishes, Surf N Salsa-best street tacos ever, Kono’s-the breakfast burritos are AMAZING, The Beet Box-vegan/vegetarian options, Mr Matsumoto- beautiful&delicious shaved ice), Foodland (grocery store about 7min down the road), Bonzai Pipeline (we were able to catch the surf competition while here and see the famous beach up close) and Waimea Bay Beach Park (for its waves and plenty of beach space). The studio has a two burner stove top, microwave & microwave oven, coffee pot, mini fridge, and all the utensils and pots and pans you need to cook for yourself. We started off by cooking breakfast every morning to save money but the delicious food on the island got the better of us. Also included are snorkel gear, beach chairs, boards, bikes and even a washer/dryer. An outdoor shower was super convenient for washing off before entering the studio (there is always sand everywhere!) and the indoor shower is spacious and amazing for cleaning off at the end of the day. The queen bed is super comfortable and there’s a TV if you happen to have down time in between exploring and laying on the beach 😉 We even headed down to Waikiki/Honolulu for a couple days- it’s about an hour drive and there’s even more to explore. If you’re staying in the North Shore, I definitely recommend this quaint place in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood. Our vacation was a dream!
