  • Nice place to stay in Glendale area

This was a nice, affordable place to stay while in Glendale, AZ. It was easy to find and close to major streets and area attractions. The owner provided clear, easy instructions and good customer service. The interior was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and well-maintained. There was plenty of nearby restaurants and shopping. We loved the weather and the Phoenix Zoo. The only negative was the pool was too cold for us. However, we had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this property.

We spent a lovely week at Casita Sunrise in mid-March. This apartment was spacious and had everything we could have wished for. My husband worked remotely a few days, and there was a comfortable desk space for him. The kitchen allowed us to enjoy coffee and breakfast and a few evening meals. It was nice to have the option to eat in after a long day of activity. There was even a grill and outdoor seating just for our use. On days we were up early, we were rewarded with the sight of hot air balloons rising just a short distance away. We rented mountain bikes and enjoyed the many nearby trails - there are plenty of options for all skill levels. In addition, excursions to the Desert Botanical Garden, Taliesin West, and the Musical Instrument Museum were all worthwhile. And Sedona was a short drive north. While I couldn't recommend the town itself at that time of year, as it was jam packed with people, we still found some beautiful and lightly trafficked hiking trails to explore the area. Russ and Cindy were wonderful hosts, gracious, responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay at Casita Sunrise again.
