It was rainy & chilly at the start of my stay but the boat was cozy and comfortable. The boat overall was great. I didn't love the pillows but otherwise everything was great. One thing AirBNB & VRBO owners need to be aware of is that "non-stick" pans get scratched & damaged by being stacked on each other as well as through use. I've stayed in a bunch of these & this is common. I don't want to use scratched nonstick pans & ingest aluminum. Fortunately, there was one frying pan that was ok for my use on Eric's boat. I would definitely stay here again.
This lovely floating home couldn't have been better organized, stocked or efficient with its use of space. Well thought out and designed. Nicely appointed. Comfortable bedding, great towels (including the black makeup washcloths!), arrival flowers and spirits, and so much more. We SO enjoyed our stay; exploring the area, the fantastic restaurants, the beauty/nature, the short drive to Napa and the availability of grabbing a quick ferry to San Francisco... not to mention the cooler weather (we're from Florida and were escaping the heat). Janet, the host, was immediately available for any questions. We were fortunate to have met her during our stay. The home is nicely laid out and had a very spacious feel to it. We also thoroughly enjoyed walking the entire "floating house village" which consists of several docks/marinas. Such fun with all their whimsy as well as all of the beautiful plants/flowers/landscaping! Only one single downside which was the proximity to the highway. If windows were closed at night, it wasn't an issue. If windows were open (which in our case they were in order to enjoy the cool night air) it is a bit noisy. Beyond that, most every comfort of home was available to us. Thank you, Janet! We'll meet again!
