This apartment was amazingly spacious for a one bedroom in Europe, and very clean, it has easy walking access many attractions in Krakow. The check in process was a little confusing as the individual apartments are not marked clearly. There is a main door you access with a code. You go up one flight of stairs and right next to the door you enter there are lock boxes containing the keys for which you have a code. There are two keys- one to get through the door right next to the lock box (use the deadbolt lock to open- not the lock on the handle). Once you are through this door there is a small hallway with two doors. These doors are not marked - but 2b is the door to the right. Once again use the deadbolt lock with the second key to open door. The management people of this apartment are fantastic. They respond instantly via phone and text. They provided us with a private driver to Auschwitz-Birkenau for a fee, but well worth using as opposed to a tour bus. You will have to prearrange your tour at Auschwitz, but you can tour Birkenau without a guide. We were only there for two nights but fell in love with Krakow. We plan on returning and I would absolutely rent this apartment again. It is fantastic!!
Walking distance to the train station, which is also a fantastic shopping hub. Very convenient to the historic center (said to be Europe’s largest public square) and and to the old Jewish ghetto.
