We wanted a place within walking distance of the Opera House, Circular Quay and Darling Harbor and this property is exactly that.
Very charming three bedroom condo tucked away off of Argyle Street. The building is old, but well restored, which is part of it's charm.
We happened to be there during the Vivid Light Celebration, which was so fun!
If we're ever lucky enough to get back to Sydney, we would love to stay here again.
We loved our stay at Rocks Cottage. It was less than a 10 minute walk to Sydney Harbour, and everything else. Despite the very rainy and cold weather, we were still able to see a great deal of the city because of our location. The city was alive until 11:00 pm because of VIV’D and we got to experience this amazing festival of light, sound and ideas. The cottage itself was large enough for six of us, three adults and three children, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the blankets in the living room downstairs helped us congregate in comfort in the living room. The only drawback was that both showers could not be used simultaneously as it affected the water pressure. The neighborhood is old but safe, and we valued that. If we have the opportunity to visit Sydney again, we would choose to stay at “Rocks Cottage”
