  • What a great fall getaway!
    5 of 5

Stayed mid Oct 2018 Damariscotta Lake is beautiful in the fall and the lake itself is very clear. Having kayaks and a canoe at the camp were a great plus. For the most part we stayed in the upper level of the house being there was just two of us. It was warm and cozy and we did have to turn the furnace on as the nights went below 45 degrees. The lower level of the home seemed a little cooler even with the furnace on (the furnace is located in the lower level) but both levels did have additional wood stoves. The upper level has very good views of the lake so that you can enjoy the sunrise on those chilly mornings. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need for your stay. The bathrooms were clean as was the rest of the house. Craig and Marcy were very quick to respond to any questions and supplied some good suggestions as to what to visit and do in the area. The house has good wifi but don’t expect any cell signal in this area.

  • It is a Beautiful Spot
    5 of 5

My wife and I stayed there for only 2 nights but wished we could have spent longer. Very homey and cozy place. Nice dock and clear water. (Saw some good size fish following my lure. Honest.)The colors surrounding us were Awesome! We would love to make this Maine trip a yearly thing and we will surely book this property again. Oh, and if you like Lobsta' go to Creamers. You have to call by 2pm if you want it cooked but it is 24hrs fresh and very good prices. My wife and I called and got 5 beautiful, big ones cooked and picked them up that night. Well what can you say, it was the best Lobsta experience we have ever had. And in a cozy spot that feels like your miles from everything. We will be back. Thank you Natalie for sharing this special place with us. Sharon and Dan Caswell Portland, Oregon 10/11/18
