  • Perfect spot for a family getaway
    5 of 5

My husband and my toddler and I stayed at the downtown walnut with 3 other families and it was the perfect house for us to gather for a long weekend. The house is beautiful and spacious- we didn't have to fight over the rooms because they were all so nice! Kara provided a baby gate and a pack and play to make our stay with the little ones more comfortable. There are two playgrounds just blocks away for the kiddos and a short walk to downtown for wine tasting. We had a great time making family meals in the beautiful kitchen. The house is set up kind of like a hotel, so you can expect to find little goodies around every corner (phone chargers, complimentary snacks and drinks, travel sized amenities etc) we would definitely go back!

  • Great place to stay near downtown Lodi

My wife and I stayed in the Rhone room, the smallest of those available at the Bordeaux Inn. It was terrific. The room was nice with its own bathroom and a comfortable bed. The owners, Craig and Rebecca, were very hospitable and we enjoyed talking with them at breakfast. The house is just a few blocks from downtown Lodi. We walked there early in the morning to meet friends for coffee and really enjoyed looking at all of the houses in the surrounding neighborhood; the architectural styles are of a type we really like. My wife said that it reminded her of many small towns in the midwest. There are several tasting rooms but we didn't have a chance to check them out as we had to leave, but we're contemplating a return trip with friends in the spring. You can be sure we'll stay here agin then.
