The property was clean and exactly like the pictures described. The contact people were great to answer questions and help. This was a quaint fishing village with moss and huge trees, like a picture out of a magazine. Surprisingly, had wonderful very reasonable restaurants and a pub that had awesome food!!! Fresh seafood from all the fishing and shrimping was very apparent. It was a wonderful place to relax and fish, but the best activity we participated in was the Captain Rick Nature Tour located behind the Dark Water Restaurant, it was wonderful. The ride was beautiful and the guide was knowledgeable and entertaining; just a nice guy. Very reasonable entertainment, a good way to take in the nature, see the beauty and learn about the interesting history of Yankey Town , Fl. For us, this property will be a great men's retreat for fishing and eating and a beautiful place for the women to hang out in the future.

Gorgeous place. Fishermen in the family will love all the bass, ours sure did. It is far enough from the water that our 2 year olds were quickly caught before deciding lake diving might be fun. It is a great location with both the Withlacoochee and Rainbow Rivers being easily accessible. Highly recommend as a place to relax and have fun. The house is in great shape and highly functional. The floors were a bit dirty and could use a deep cleaning but with so many entrances and exits I am sure they are not easily maintained. Overall we had 6 adults and 4 kids and were not the least bit crowded. We will be back again I am sure. Fantastic fun for all ages
