  • Wonderful little spot
    4 of 5

Our stay was brief but we enjoyed it immensely. The casita was clean and had all we needed and the location is close to the park. The drive in is on dirt roads but we were able to navigate them in our non 4wheel drive vehicle. I would definitely go back!

  • Charming, cute little cabin in Joshua Tree beauty!
    5 of 5

This little cabin was just what we wanted. It is on the owner's property, and he both welcomed us and gave us space. He's a musician, and the property carries a sense of creativity and fun times. The cabin is snug and cozy, and had just the sort of "vibe" we were looking for. A bit of magic, I'd say. You can take a morning walk down the dirt roads and enjoy the scenery, and there are two little spots to sit outside to eat, sip drinks, or work. The cabin is at the end of the road, so at night the stars are incredible. And, of course, you're very close to the entrance to Joshua Tree Park. The cabin is rustic, so, for example, I never felt hot water in the kitchen sink, but the shower was beautifully hot. The bathtub is on a bit of a platform, and the ceiling is pretty low, so if you're tall you'll have to crouch a bit, but it didn't bother me at all. My husband and I just found the place utterly charming and we can't wait to come back.
