The best location

Troy’s house was perfect. There are only a handful of detached houses in the complex. The layout of the house made the trip perfect for us, four adults and a two year old. The pool was amazing and the home is walkable to everything you need - the beach, ABC store/restaurants! Troy is communicative and available anytime you need something. But you probably won’t need anything because the house and property are perfect!

One month business trip

Troy's house was an excellent place to stay while on a one month business trip in March 2020 (cut short by 10 days due to COVID outbreak). Clean and quiet. Troy was very responsive to inquiries. Overall, a great VRBO experience.

So perfect for our family vacation!

Ko'Olina Great Stay

Property even better than listed. Very well furnished, extremely comfortable beds and bedding. Great location in quiet safe neighborhood within walking distance of Beaches, Shops and Restaurants. Definitely will book here again. Great Communication and Support from Troy.

Troy went above and beyond

The place was great. Clean, great location, the kids loved going to the lagoons, we all loved watching the golfers from the back yard. More importantly, Troy went above and beyond to help us out when some complications arose with our stay. He was extremely flexible and accommodating and even invited me to play golf with him to relieve some stress. We will be on island for a while and will count Troy as a friend as long as we are here.

Just left troy’s beautiful home. We enjoyed or stay of almost 2 weeks greatly. There was 6 of us for the first week then sized down to 2 everything we needed to keep us more than comfortable. Enjoyed or stay with family and our granddaughters graduation. Thanks for this comfortable and very clean home.

Paradise

Our accommodations were supremely comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and allowed us all of the comforts of home. The lay out of the house allowed for privacy when we had guests. The lanai is beautifully serene and is set on the fairway of the 14th hole of the golf course. Indoor and outdoor space that provided serene comfort. We were able to walk to the local market, several restaurants, and the beach. We found the location of the house to be ideal. It was a pleasure to be able to walk to our favorite spots without needing to get into the car. And if we did need an extensive grocery shopping trip, that was just a short few miles away with several choices for our shopping needs. Troy was wonderful with whom to work. He has organized a house that is very user friendly and he intermittently checked in with us to see if we needed anything. The house was a little piece of paradise on a big island of paradise. A pleasure in all ways everyday. We are sorry to leave.

Very comfortable house close to everything

The house was very clean and comfortable for a big family. The kitchen had everything you'd need to cook even a Thanksgiving dinner. We had to drive to the beach as it is not very close and we had young children but if you get there before 9:30 am you will be able to find a parking spot in one of the 4 lagoons nearby. There was a small mall nearby with a few restaurants, pizza place, ABC Store, which was also very convenient. But the best thing was the beach itself - very calm and shallow waters, perfect for little swimmers! I would go back there again!

Awesome Property

A trip to Hawaii with family for a wedding. We stayed at this property and it was awesome. Lots of room, beds were great! I loved the patio, Watching the golfers go by! Troy was awesome to work with. He was quick in responding to questions and was very willing to do whatever needed to be done to make us happy! If I ever get back to this area I would certainly look at staying here again... Highly recommend it to others. Thanks Troy we had a great time.... And today it is snowing in Wisconsin!!

Our stay in Ko Olina Kai

Our family vacation was just the best. The house was perfect for the 6 of us. We loved the beautiful kitchen and cooked a few meals plus always had a great place to hang out and enjoy snacks. Had a bbq on a Memorial Day and it was great. The beds were comfortable and we never had any problems with showers when we returned from our outings. Troy met us upon arrival and explained the ins and outs of the house. Just a lovely experience for all of us.

Great location for a relaxing vacation

Excellent stay in Ko'olina Kai

We stayed this house for a month and really enjoyed our vacation. The property is located in gated community which is very quiet and secure. The rooms and equipments are very comfortable for the stay. Troy, the owner of this property, is great. He assisted us very promty. Troy, we really thank you that we could spend pleasant honeymoon and vacation.

Wonderful Stay at Ko Olina

We recently stayed at this location for the month of February 2016. We are almost senior citizens. Troy met us upon arrival and he gave us a tour of the the house. He was very pleasant and gave us tips of things to do. The house has an open floor plan and with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, it was great. The Master Bath is wonderfully large with large bathtub and separate shower. Lots of room for everyone. It was clean and with all the material comforts. The beds were very comfortable. The landscaping was very nice. We felt very safe walking around the area. Most of the time it was the 2 of us but we had guests come for part of our holiday. There was a total of 5 adults for a 4 day period. It was very comfortable. It was within walking distance (20 minutes) to the Lagoons of Ko Olina. They are beautiful. We were there during the big waves of the Eddie at the North Shore. The waves in Ko Olina were not that huge but they were impressive to watch. We seen whales, a monk seal, turtles and lots of birds. We went snorkeling in Lagoon 3 one afternoon. It was nice and calm and the water was very clear. Not a lot to see but enough for our skill level. There was always room at any of the lagoons to set a chair or lay on the sand. They were never too crowed. The sand is beautiful. The lagoon walking trails were all hard surfaced and great for walking. The weather was great most of the time. A few showers and some windy days but mostly sun. We sat on the back deck watching golf a lot. We do not golf but we had fun watching all the shots. Not all the golfers were good at the sport. We toured the whole Island and Ko Olina is the nicest area. I understand more hotels are coming though. The Polynesian Culture Centre was fabulous. Our personal guide, Aoey was wonderful. A young man from Thailand who is studing Accounting at BYU. We went to the Dole Pineapple Plantion and had a great time. The Hawaiian Railroad out of Ewa was fun. It is the train that goes throught Ko Olina. We opted for the Dillingham Car. It has plush seats. The Arizona Memorial is a must see and we walked on Waikiki Beach, just to say we were there. We ate at Roy's at the golf club. The meal was fabulous, expensive but worth doing once. The North Shore was beautiful with large waves and lots of people. We found traffic and parking was a problem no matter where we went. We would not hesitate to recommend this place to our friends.

A Haven

We recently stayed here for two weeks following the adoption of our son. With 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, it was absolutely perfect for us, our 3 year old and adult guest. Clean, bright, well laid out, and everything one could ever want. It's like walking into your own home, but better. The local pool is gorgeous, we wen every day. Troy is extremely responsive, kind, and respectful of our situation, being reasonable and flexible as our plans changed throughout the process. The area is lovely, with a Disney resort that features a character breakfast for a reasonable price close by (very fun for the littles). All desired amenities and shopping only several minutes away. Troy, we thank you, again and again, for being such an integral and pleasant part of our adoption journey. We're indebted!

Perfect home for our family

This is a perfect home for any families who want to relax and enjoy Oahu. Troy's house is in clean perfect condition with everything that one would need. Troy would answer any questions about the house in a minute. He greeted us on our arrival and gave us an informative tour of his house. We will always cherish our time in Ko olina!

Excellent choice for us

This is a lovely home in a beautiful area. We found the drive down the tree lined boulevard immediately relaxing. The home, it self, is located in a gated community which is well maintained and quiet. The home is lovely. It is the best that we have ever rented,by far. The kitchen is roomy and well fitted out with every thing that one would need. The living area is comfortable and over looks the golf course. Though we never dined in the house there is a dining table that will seat six comfortably. We ate our meals on the patio where we enjoyed watching the golfers and the birds. It is a quick drive to Costco,Target,Ross and a new TJMaxx is about to open. In the same shopping area a Denny's and a Ruby Tuesday's. Not far away is an Outback Steakhouse. Troy, the property owner, is very gracious and was happy to assist when needed. He was very responsive to our emails. We had a lovely time and would rent this home again when we are able to return to Oahu.
