"Great location. We enjoyed the kayaks, campfires and having everything we needed to be comfortable. The screened porch was great for a buggy night. The cabin is decorated perfectly and it was nice having a washer and dryer. Recommend nearby hike at Auger Falls and dinner at the Alpine Grill."

"My spouse and I had the great luck to stay at this gem of a space for two nights for the total solar eclipse. Janet was a gracious, warm, welcoming, and communicative host, making sure we had all information and comfort needed for our stay. The space inside and out is private and serene. When not having our minds blown by the sublime eclipse, we enjoyed sitting in comfy Adirondack chairs listening to birdsong, whooping cranes (!), and watching deer walk in the surrounding woods. "This was my first time to NY and I couldnt have stayed at a better place. The cottage is quaint and have characteristics of one from 1936. It was very clean and cozy. My friends and I had lots of good times on the back deck and roasting marshmellows in the fire pit. Jackie, the host, always responded to any questions I had when making the reservations.
