Absolutely wonderful five night stay in this beautiful, warm and relaxing home. Joyce made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic vacation in her lovely home. So close to the water, restaurants and Galway. Parking on-site. Perfect location to visit the Aran Islands as well. One of the very best VRBO experiences we have had over the years - would highly recommend!!

This house is an impressive size and style. The owners are an engineer and an artist and both are abilities are evident in the details of what they have created — a large, modern house. Joyce promptly and fully answered every question sent to prepare for our trip. The house is in a small town outside Galway, with a view of Galway Bay and an easy walk to a beach and the local but fancy pub. We didn’t even bother with a car c for the first few days but then regularly headed out for the local sites: Cliffs of Moher (2 hr drive), Kylemore Abbey (1 1/2 hr), Limerick (1 hr), and often into Galway (20-25 min). Stayed for two weeks and hated to leave!

This place was AWESOME! Highly recommend for a large group. Easy meal prep as every pot & pan there.

The house was perfect for us. The house is immaculate and is very spacious. It's simply decorated and not cluttered. It was a great location for us with an easy walk down to the main street in Spiddal. We enjoyed staying there!

This property was perfect for me and my extended family. Both granddaughters were over the moon at having a room with a balcony overlooking the lake. All four adults found the bedrooms, community areas and kitchen to be a great value with enough space for everyone to find seclusion when needed, and ample room for group meals and other activities. We loved the area and quickly found our way throughout the region and many of the area attractions. This house is a pure gem and we will remember our stay for decades to come.

We spent a week in Spiddal Cottage. The location suited us very well, it is half an hour from Galway with and on the doorstep of all Connemara has to offer. It is walking distance to the village. The house is spotless with a very well equipped kitchen. Patsy , the owner, was very welcoming with milk in the fridge so that we could have a cuppa when we arrived and a generous fruit bowl to keep us healthy during our stay. I would recommend.
