Have a drink at the Olde Pink House

Cozy up on a couch to listen to some live piano playing. Try sampling an appetizer of fried green tomatoes and sipping on one of the restaurant’s custom cocktails.
Picnic in Forsyth Park
This 30-acre park is one of the most famous spots in the city – the 19th century cast-iron fountain was designed to resemble the grand fountain in Paris and is nothing short of breathtaking. Local couples love to pack picnics and spend lazy afternoons lounging on blankets beneath shady trees. On Saturdays, there’s also a lovely farmer’s market.
Go on a haunted tour
While it may not seem particularly romantic at the time, haunted tours provide the perfect opportunity to squeeze each other tight. Unofficially crowned “America’s Most Haunted City,” the city’s long and storied past means there are plenty of spooky sights to see after dark.
Stroll through Chippewa Square
Chippewa Square is the perfect place to take a stroll with your sweetheart. The oak-lined pathways and benches built-for-two provide the ideal setting for a romantic walk in the park. The north side of Chippewa Square also happens to be one of the most iconic sites in the film Forrest Gump.
Get a couples massage
Sweet Water Spa is the perfect place to get a couples massage after a long day of exploring the city. It offers all types of luxurious treatments, and is a favorite among locals looking for a romantic Valentine’s Day gift.
Have dinner at Elizabeth on 37th
This fantastic restaurant is a little off the beaten path, but it’s housed in a gorgeous early-20th century mansion and offers a particularly romantic atmosphere. Feast on Southern-inspired cuisine, fresh seafood and local produce.
Go to a wine tasting at Savannah Oaks Winery
This local winery is sprawled over 11,000 acres in the foothills of Starr Mountain and offers wine and cheese tastings year-round. Make a reservation to sample a variety of reds and whites and ask about the musical events that the winery hosts throughout the year.
Watch the sunset on the beach
The most romantic way to end a trip in the city is watching the sunset at Tybee Island. Just a short walk from downtown, this barrier island on the coast is one of the most peaceful spots in the city.
