Where to stay near National Parks
For families looking to enjoy the great outdoors, there are few better ways than checking out one of the many wondrous National Parks. Just in time for National Parks Month, we’ve curated some of our favorite Vrbo properties in or near some of America’s favorite National Parks. Zion National Park
This large log cabin is steps away from Zion National Park’s Ponderosa Resort. The home has a large back porch offering plenty of space to enjoy an al fresco meal or watch the wildlife pass by – with enough space to sleep 16, the whole family can enjoy the fresh mountain air. In addition to Zion, other nature adventures await in destinations including Bryce Canyon National Park, Cedar Breaks National Monument and Grand Canyon National Park, which are all only a short drive away.
Great Smoky Mountains National Park
This home offers breathtaking views of the Smokies, making it a perfect getaway for families looking to be immersed in nature. Situated only 11 miles from Dollywood, five minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and 10 minutes from the park entrance, there are plenty of activities to keep a family busy. Both kids and adults will also enjoy the many entertainment options in the house itself, which include a game room outfitted with darts, a pool table and arcade games.
Olympic National Park
For gorgeous views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca by Olympic National Park, this large cabin located on a bluff fits the bill. It sleeps up to 9 and has plenty of outdoor seating and large windows facing the water with unobstructed views for whale watching and enjoying the sunsets. Indoors, the cross-beam ceiling and wood fireplace in the living room make the space cozy and inviting.

Glacier National Park
This cozy home is located inside Glacier National Park, just a short walk from Lake McDonald. With outdoor enthusiasts in mind, the home has a large wraparound deck as well as kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. Many other attractions such as Halfmoon Lake, Grinnell Glacier Trailhead and Whitefish Mountain Resort are also nearby so it’s easy to find plenty of activities and reconnect with the great outdoors.
Acadia National Park
